How old is the world?
The age of the world is not something that all people agree about; in fact it is not something that all Christians agree about either.
Some would try and add up the years by saying that it is about 2000years since Jesus was about and then look at the genealogies in the Bible (Mathew Ch 1) to work back from there to Abraham then Adam (you probably have to assume rough ages of people in that big list). However this may not be everyone in the list but just some of the 'bigger players'.
Then you have the argument about whether God created a world which was already old, with fossils and peat (degraded plat and animal matter) and so on.
At the end of the day you cannot say for definite one way or the other how old the world is but from reading Genesis Ch1 we have the basic principal that it was God that made it and that He made it perfectly (Genesis 1:31).
