Leadership
As believers in Jesus Christ we see our involvement in Roots as a God given task, which he has personally called each of us into. It is God's work and though he does not NEED us, he WANTS to use us for His glory.

CHURCH
As you can see from the Team List, all our helpers/leaders are rooted in a particular fellowship. Roots is NOT a replacement for regular worship and service in our own church fellowships and we do not encourage the young people to become Roots 'junkies'. Instead we urge them to obey God's command to accept Jesus Christ through faith and repentance and then take their place in His church as adopted children.
Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as we see the Day approaching.

BIBLE
As the Word of God is taught and preached we place ourselves under its authority and so under the authority of our LORD Jesus.

PRAYER
We pray the Tuesday before each Roots (7-
Prayer is at the heart of the work of Roots because it focusses our attention on God and asks him to do great things in young lives.
We also encourage our leaders/helpers to be fully involved in the regular prayer meetings of their churches as this is our responsibility AND privilege as Christians and we dare not ignore what God tells us is important.
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
