“ So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”
Colossians 2:6-

Why is it that in Jeremiah 24:8 it mentions Zedekiah being in Egypt instead of Babylon?
I love a smart-
It doesn't actually say Zedekiah was in Egypt. The verse suggests that 'some' of the people may go and live in Egypt but whether they stay or go they will still be punished for rebelling against God: 'But like the poor figs, which are so bad they cannot be eaten,' says the LORD 'so will I deal with Zedekiah king of Judah, his officials and the survivors from Jerusalem, whether they remain in this land or live in Egypt.'
Now I've answered your question, a word of warning to us all: our questions on the Bible, no matter how obscure, should come from a genuine desire to understand a bit more of God's awesome plan to redeem us NOT an eagerness to use the Bible as a fun puzzle to play around with!
