“ So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in Him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”

Colossians 2:6-7

What’s the best way to convert a non-Christian?

Unfortunately converting a non-Christian isn’t as easy as converting a $100 note into pounds.

It’s all God’s work and it is all by his grace that anyone can come to know him and turn away from themselves.  We can only speak when asked to give a reason for the hope we have; live each day as salt and light and when we feel led by God to share the wonderful Good News we do it in humility for his glory not for our notebook where we are tallying up how many people we’ve spoken to.

It doesn’t sound as exciting, fast or effective as banging them over the head with a Bible and zapping them with a special conversion quotation.  But we must just ask God to give us patience and encouragement as we pray to him to save this person and again tell God that we want him to use us in any way he wants.  Check out the other potshot: How can you tell someone about Jesus if they don’t give a scoobies for what you have to say?
