Who told Adam and Eve to eat the forbidden fruit?

 

Satan, the one who despises us because he despises our Creator took the form of a snake and told them to eat the fruit – telling them they could be like God if they ate it (Genesis Ch 3 v1-5). So they were tempted to put themselves before God.  Nothing has changed since then.  This is still the No. 1 temptation Satan presents us with, to make ourselves No 1!
